The Fine Art of Wine: A Grand Tour

March 12 through March 27, 2026

We are delighted to announce that Friends of Florence is partnering with one of the leading Italian auction houses, Pandolfini, to celebrate Tuscan wine, arts and culture, hospitality, and craftsmanship. The Fine Art of Wine: A Grand Tour opened on March 12, 2026, and concludes at 3:30 pm Florence time on March 27, 2026. All proceeds from the auction will support our Foundation’s initiatives in Florence and the region.

We cordially invite you to peruse the auction catalogue here. In addition to a wide-ranging selection of fine wines, lots include once-in-a-lifetime experiences such as private tours and tastings at Tuscany’s storied vineyards with the owners and distinguished experts. There are also singular opportunities to stay at some of the most elegant and breathtaking properties in and around Tuscany and other locations in Italy. Three unique lots involve co-creating one-of-a-kind fashion accessories with eminent Florentine artisans. A special lot directly supports a specific conservation project, and another allows the successful bidder to attend our October 2026 Florence and Venice program on Michelangelo and Titian.

Register here with Pandolfini to bid. Visit Friends of Florence’s support page to pay for auction lot(s) by clicking “Support” to use a credit card (Mastercard, Visa, or American Express) in U.S. Dollars. Please include the lot number(s) with your payment. To pay with a wire transfer in Euros or U.S. Dollars or if you have questions, please contact Elisa Bonini: elisaboniniitaly@friendsofflorence.org.

Once your online payment is processed, you will receive a confirmation email. We will then arrange for you to receive your lots. All auction proceeds directly benefit Friends of Florence, our 501(c)(3) based in Washington, D.C.

With the support of our wonderful donors and collaborators, we continue to ensure future generations will also experience the magnificent works we help restore—some of the most beloved in Western culture—enabling meaningful connections with history and one another.
