Highlights included:
• A lecture by Dr. John Paoletti, program historian, on Donatello and Florence at the beginning of the 1400s.
• A day trip to Siena to view Donatello artworks and related works by Jacopo della Quercia and other artists.
• A private visit to the Bargello Museum in Florence followed by Cocktails and Dinner.
• A morning visit to Baptistry and the Opera del Duomo, followed by a visit to Santa Croce to view works by Donatello.

• A visit to Villa Emo, near Monselice and designed by Palladio, followed by cocktails and dinner hosted by Countess Emo Capodilista.
• A visit to Prato to view the Cathedral and various artworks.
• A viewing of the restoration of Rustici’s The Sermon of St. John the Baptist bronze group, a Friends of Florence project.
• Lunch in Palazzo Antinori.
• A private visit to the Uffizi Gallery, including a visit viewing of the Tribune, currently under restoration as Friends of Florence’s 10th Anniversary Project.
