Video Installation and Archive Project – Horne Museum
This project created a major video installation about Herbert Horne, which has been on display at the museum since May 2013. The video mentions Friends of Florence’s work and notes the similarity/connection to Horne’s work in Florence a century ago in defending the architectural and artistic integrity of the city.
Sculptural Monument for the Uffizi Gallery
Friends of Florence commissioned Roberto Barni to create a sculpture in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the May 27, 1993 bombing of the Uffizi Gallery. The sculpture, I Passi d’Oro, was placed on the façade of the Uffizi and unveiled on May 27, 2013.
