The painted canvas on the cover of the organ, depicting Santa Cecilia playing an organ with angels, is in dire condition and has been removed from the instrument. When the restoration is complete, the canvas will be placed in a museum currently under construction at Santa Felicità, one of Florence’s oldest churches.
