This project will be presented in the Scuderia Quirinale’s Pontormo exhibition in Rome in 2026, along with an altarpiece from S. Michele in Pontorme, Italy, we aim to also restore. These five frescoes by Pontormo (1494-1551) were painted in the Certosa di Galluzzo (Florence Charterhouse) during the plague when the artist was isolated there.
