Giovanni Pisano’s Pulpit – Sant’Andrea Church of Pistoia

The Giovanni Pisano Pulpit in the Church of Sant’Andrea in Pistoia is in dire need of restoration due chiefly to instability and the erosion of metal support structures within the pulpit. This important monument is one of the central artworks that led to Renaissance sculpture.
